CLASSIC GAME ROOM WEBSITE

11/19/08, NINTENDO WEEK is coming the week of November, 24th!!!

That's right, all Nintendo, all week.  Reviews from all five Nintendo video game consoles and other Nintendo produced games and hardware.  Everyone thinks Classic Game Room hates Nintendo and it isn't true, we love Nintendo!  We just happen to love all our consoles and try and spend time with each of them.... or they get jealous.  CGRHD has not reviewed many Nintendo games lately and we're going to change that.  Get ready 'cause Nintendo week does what Nintendon't week didn't do anyway!

Site Updates: All Classic Game Room Atari 2600 and Playstation 2 reviews have been added to the site.  We are in the process of organizing and cataloging every video game review by game console.  You'll soon be able to have every video organized here along with cartridge or disc scans, box art and full information about the game and date of release.  We're updating the Xbox 360 and PS3 reviews next, so check back often.

All of the Atari 2600 reviews from Classic Game Room are being collected in one handy section so that you can browse through them.  We will then collect all of the Magnavox Odyssey 2 reviews, Colecovsion and Atari 7800 reviews.  You can view the Atari 2600 master review list HERE!  More site updates to come!

SITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION once again..!  Laughing  News 11/12/08

Most of our time and energy has gone into our videos on the YouTube channel over the past few months and you can view those HERE.

We are working to make many organizational changes to the site to catalog the Classic Game Room video game reviews, articles, photographs and information.

Therefore there are many changes taking place here at Classic Game Room Headquarters.  If something looks bizarre that's because our trained team of magic unicorns and ninja assassin elves screwed something up.  We are working to make ClassicGameRoom.net an awesome resource for new and classic retro video games.  In the meantime please visit our forums, the YouTube channel and remember hang out and grab a virtual beer.

Open for business, thanks to Synthem and Rep and the crew from the Wind Squid Pub (the regulars who sit at the bar and eat all the peanuts!), here's the address and instructions, we'll look into getting this embedded into our site somehow, but in the meantime here's how you enter the chat room:

http://chat.efnet.org/

When the page comes up enter a nickname and then drop down the menu bar and select "other", then when it prompts you paste in #thegameroom

Check the forums for pre-scheduled Happy Hour events.  The Wind Squid Pub is open globally and around the clock.
